Finger Paints

Ingredients:
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 teaspoon salt
  • 3 cups cold water
  • 2 cups hot water
  • drops of food coloring

Directions:

In a medium saucepan over medium heat, combine flour and salt. Add cold water and using a whisk or hand mixer, beat mixture until smooth. Add hot water and bring mixture to a boil, stirring until glossy. Remove from heat. If you want to make more then 1 color, carefully separate into more containers. Add drops of desired color food coloring. Stir until mixture is completely colored, adding more drops of food coloring if needed. Let your finger paint cool completely before using finger paints in various art projects. Store in airtight containers. Makes about 5 cups.
