My three year old had a bag of caramel candy. She left it in my car on one of our hot days and it melted on my seat. How do I get this sticky mess up?

Try WD-40 to loosen the caramel so that you can just pull it off.

I'd suggest first freezing it with an ice cube and chipping it off. Then use hot water and a rag to dissolve the last remnants and rinse till it's all gone.

Use the hottest water you can stand. It might help to wear rubber gloves.
