Penny is 1 1/2 years old. She is part beagle and part Jack Russel (from the Humane Society). After my beagle Rosie passed away, I was so sad, my family allowed me to go to the Humane Society to look. I instantly fell in love with Penny. She had been returned because they said she never settled down.
She likes mostly hanging out with the family. She likes to disembowel stuffed toys and chew on her bone. Oh, and she likes to bark at squirrels. She recently won Savannah's "Small Dawg Festival" races.
Wow! your Penny looks just like our Princess!!! I got princess from a local shelter as a 4month old pup, she is now 8 months. What a ton of energy!!! I have a 5yr old daughter and these two pick on each other like they are real sisters!! Congrats to Penny on her win! I just adore that sweet beagle face. I have a beagle/dachshund female who turned 14 in October. I got her from the humane society in Jan. 2007 (she was 12 then). She has the dachshund body with that precious beagle head and face - best of both worlds! Give Penny a big hug and kiss from Missy and her Mom and God bless you. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year
I know that puppy dog look. Do you think my Booger (Jack Russell/poi dog mix) and your Penny could be related, even though Booger's in Hawaii? He also loves to disembowel stuffed toys with gusto.
