Chocolate Chess Pie

This is an easy delicious pie that will remind you of brownies.


  • 4 eggs
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 Tbsp. flour
  • 5 Tbsp. cocoa
  • Ad
  • 1/2 cup melted butter or margarine
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2 regular pie shells


Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

Using Mixer at medium speed, blend all ingredients. Place pie shells on a cookie sheet and prick the sides and bottom with a fork. Fill the pie shell and gently put in the oven. Bake for 30 minutes. Remove from oven and allow to cool. Top with whipped cream if desired or just serve as is.

30 Minutes Cooking Time

Has anyone baked this in a ready made graham cracker pie crust? Just wondering if that would work for this recipe....

  • 3 1/2 Tbsp. cocoa
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1 tsp. vanilla
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk



Combine all ingredients and mix well. Pour into an unbaked pie shell and bake in 350 degree F oven, 45 minutes.
