Grind cheese, bologna, pickles and onion together. Stir in mustard and mayonnaise. Scoop out inside of hot dog buns. Fill with meat mixture. Wrap in aluminum foil and put on cookie sheet. Heat at 350 degrees F until heated through. This is good "kid fare".
I was born and raised in Iowa and my Mother fixed these sandwiches all the time. We used Velvetta cheese most of the time. I have been living in Tennessee for 18 years and I fix them all the time. Now my grown sons and their families also fix them. These are good kid's fare, but the grown-ups love them too!
