Please bring back Spatini. It's better than all the other mixes. If not, where can I purchase the large bags and I'll break it down myself? Thanks.

Spiceplace.com has SPATINI in the 15 oz packages cheaper than anywhere else I have looked. Its still made in the large pouches just not the small boxes anymore.

After running around to five stores looking for Spatini I thought I could find out some information as to where it is sold. To my dismay I learned from the Internet that it has been discontinued! My question, WHY? Is there a rational explanation?:(

Several years ago I found Spatini on the shelves of a NY supermarket. My family loved it. We stopped using jars of spaghetti sauce because the Spatini is far superior to anything we'd tried. Last week we went to NY to visit family again, and one of my first stops was at the supermarket. We are disappointed to find that it has been discontinued. What reason could there possibly be? Bring Spatini back - no need to improve it; it was perfect.

How is my mother supposed to make her lasagna without it. I just visited her in Milwaukee over the holiday weekend and she made her last batch of lasagna, she could make it again if she could buy Spatini.

Just yesterday I bought a case of spatini from the store in Mechanicsburg, Pa. The lady said they have no problem getting it and sold me the case and even discounted it. This is a wholesale place that is open to the public. Last night was the first we had spaghetti with spatini sauce in over a year - felt like I was in heaven!!

After searching all the local supermarkets in my area for Spatini, I decided to go on line to try to find it and to my surprise I read that it is discounted, Can't BELIEVE IT. I WANT SPATINI, it's the greatest in making meat ball and meat sauce for my family. We miss it, WE WANT IT BACK!
E-Bay prices are out of line. BRING IT BACK NOW!

I think some food distributors can still buy spatini. I have read about one in Mechanicsburg, PA that does. I think that is why you still see it being sold on eBay for inflated prices. The supply is low and demand is high. For more information visit http://www.spatini.info/

Is this why I can not find spatini in my local supermarket any longer? I.E., Path-mark, shop-rite and king kullen? Why has it been cancelled from production? There is no other product like it available. It is a powder full of spices and herbs that is very potent and unique. It has multiple uses besides just spaghetti sauce you know. Has anyone called the company that makes it to ascertain why they revoked this fabulous seasoning product? I have to have it!

Spatini is gone and a lot of people are upset but do the makers of it care? I am sure a lot of people signed the petition. So now everybody knows what they think of the buyers. I say just stop buying all of there products and see what happens. Let them see how it feel not to have something they were always use to. Do not buy the other sauce packet they tell you to buy it is not good. The spatini flavor is just not there. If someone really does get the true recipe please e-mail it to me Please! shetazgeo1(@)rcn(dot) com
I mean really if they didn't loose the recipe and they do not want to make it any more at least be an American and share the recipe for the people that really love it and care!

For $.79 you can purchase the recipe for making it from http://www.topsecretrecipes.com Click recipes and search for Spatini. For $.79 you can copy the recipe and make it forever!

I've tried numerous of Todd Wilbur's "copy-cat" recipes .. everything from Heinz ketchup (delicious!) to Miracle whip .. not only are these cheaper to make than to buy (at full price at least) I know what's going into these products and can elimate chemical preservatives and other gross things (like hydrogated oils and high fructose corn syrup)!

I have been using Spatini mix to make spahetti sauce and lasagna since 1974. Now, I can not find it in the grocery stores anywhere. Where can I buy it? Can it be ordered directly from the manufacturer? If so, what is the manufacturer's address?

Editor's Note: The product has been discontinued. It was made by Lawry's (owned by Unilever). It is not available anywhere.

I just went to the two grocery stores in my area looking for Spatini, two store employees told me it was no longer being made, I walked out of both stores mumbling that they were just plain to lazy to locate where they had moved the packages in the store. Now that I have Googled it, I can't believe it doesn't exist anymore, this product has been a supplement to my family's spaghetti sauce recipe for the past 56 years, why would a company stop making something that is a staple of American families? What next? Will they stop making Peanut butter too? To me its the same ingredient in my diet. Please bring it back.

I just saw a post here on Spatini, not knowing at all what it was I looked it up. Seems it was quite the popular item, mainly back east it looks like. I never knew anyone used a mix to make their homemade sauce, I thought that just came from the herbs. But looking on the web told me that it's POPULAR, try looking it up on E-Bay, it's crazy expensive. From what I understand it's discountinued. Try typing in Spatini here on this website, you'll get the lastest questions and answers that some people were able to provide.
