Freezing Cottage Cheese
I buy cottage cheese on sale and stock up when it is marked down. I use it for baking. I simply put the package in the deep freeze and thaw it in the fridge when I need it. After thawing, drain the watery liquid and stir in some sour cream, so it isn't dry.
