To lessen your laundry load with babies, put a bib on your baby when you feed and burp them, this way if they spit-up it will get on the bib and not their clothes. My son was going through several outfits a day because of this until I realized bibs aren't just for when they start to eat solid foods, they work great for bottle feedings as well!

I wish my son would wear a bib. He hates them and started pulling them off at about nine months. The only thing I can do is to take off his shirt when he eats. That way he is easy to clean up.

My daughter has kept a bib on her 6 month old since she was born! I think the only time she takes one off is when she is sleeping. They get soaking wet from the drool, but that is better than changing her clothes several times a day!
