Using the following directions make two brown disks and 1 white disk for each cookie.

Stack your cookies and baste through all at edge as shown. Display in clear jar or apothecary. And don't be surprised if someone tries to help themselves to a cookie! They will look real at a glance.

Great for those of us who are dieting! I teach a class of third, fourth and fifth grade students in an after school program and they will love this pattern.
I made about 6 of these about 20 years ago. I made them to put out with "Santas milk and cookies" Christmas display I had in my home. On the plate next to the tree, I placed a dish with the crochet cookies and a fake glass of milk. Just about everyone who comes into my home tries to eat them! It is so funny to watch, especially the ones who think they are sneaking a cookie! They get a mouth full of fuzz! I still have them and 20 years later they are still included in my of my decorating theme for the holidays every year!
Do you have a free pattern for the oreo cookie afghan?

I used to have a see-thru cookie jar filled w/these cookies. I had a GirlScout troop and it never failed, if they came to my home, one of them would always want a cookie! Too funny! We also used them for a game, similar to the dropping clothes pins in a jar, we just dropped cookies! Great craft! thanks for the memories.
I love these! I also made some "vanilla" cookies and have put magnets on the back for fridgies. Good way to use up leftover yarn! Thanks!
How ingenious! I copied the pattern and plan to make several batches and give as gifts. Thanks for sharing with us and Happy New Year!
I HAD TO PRINT MANY COPIES OF THIS FOR FRIENDS AND FAMILY
THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR SHARING
