I was cleaning my oven with Easy Off Oven cleaner. I noticed that there are red splats on my linoleum floor and I can't get them out. Any suggestions?

Or try hand sanitizer gel, that removes permanent marker from kitchen work tops - it might do the trick.

I found something that works! I wiped a good amount of Soft Scrub (the kind with Bleach), let it sit for about 5 minutes, and then scrubbed it with a pumice stone. Relief!

Have you tried rubbing a little toothpaste over the mark? It works when I get marks on my linoleum. Good luck :)

*** I was cleaning my kitchen with oven cleaner yesterday. It worked great on ever thing. But now I have brown spots all over my floor. Does anyone have any ideas on how to remove them?

Try Mr Clean white sponges, they will clean just about anything. (11/11/2009)

Yikes, I've never seen that happen before. You could also try Brillo pads. (11/11/2009)

Don't panic. I did the same thing awhile back. I used everything I could think of, but nothing worked. It does eventually wear off just by washing the floor as you would normally do. It's been three months now, and the floor looks the same as it did before my blunder. Hugs. Cinnamon (11/11/2009)

Try vinegar and baking soda in a gallon of water or less. Good luck. (01/06/2010)
