Making Gum Wrapper Chains?

My sister and I used to make chains from gum wrappers when we were little. Does anyone know the folding technique? I can't remember how. I think you can make different crafts from them.

When I was in High School, in the 60's, we would make them as long as our boyfriends were tall. I'm only five feet and always dated tall guys. LOL! And if we broke up with one and got a different boyfriend we had to start all over. NO RECYCLING for that.

You can also make the chains using dollar bills. I've made several for high school graduates...usually 50 or 100 dollars worth. The kids have never seen these and are facinated. Some even swear they will never take them apart...until they are totally broke. LOL!

Lorelei sent the perfect link. Try it and have fun.
