Homemade Taco Sauce

  • 3 cups tomatoes peeled and chopped
  • 3 cups whole jalapeno peppers, seeded and finely chopped
  • 3/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 3 garlic cloves minced
  • 1 1/2 cups vinegar

Combine all ingredients and bring to a boil. Cover and simmer for five minutes. Pack in sterilized jars. Be sure to use all the liquid. Put on lid and screw firmly tight. Process in a boiling water bath for 30 minutes. Start counting processing time when water begins to boil.
