Removing Dinginess from Whites

To remove the "dingies" from white clothes drop a dishwasher soap tab, or a half cup of dishwasher powder (must be for dishwashing machine) into your washer, along with your regular laundry soap, and wash as usual. Works really great on white socks!

Will this work with only cold water washes? I will give it a shot. I use vinegar for my rinse cycle as most people I know are allergic to fabric softener and it also prevents water from being absorbed into a bath towel. Sue

I also use Vinegar. About a 1/2 cup every load. What a difference!
