Thanks for the useful info. I have forwarded it on to my (nearly clueless) daughter! Only comment: 1/4 tsp. of salt is too much for a pinch. A scant 1/8 is better if you have to measure. Better still is to use what you can hold between thumb and first finger; that's a "pinch."
