I have a popular automatic shower cleaner.Does anyone have a suggestion on what I can fill it with so I don't have to buy the expensive refills and will still get my shower clean.

For disinfecting, you need only use 1 teaspoon of bleach to a gallon of water. This is state approved for daycares in Missouri. Don't over do on bleach -- it's not good for your lungs.

If you have a mildew problem, I would fill it with half bleach and half water.

I simply bought a small trigger spray bottle and filled it with one part white vinegar, three parts water. A simple spritz dissolves the yucky stuff without scrubbing, and the tart aroma fades quickly.

Mean green cleaner or grease lightning, both are great and sold at walmart or dollar stores.
