Learn to Change Your Oil

Save money by learning to change your own oil in your car. To have it changed at a Lube place it runs $30.00, three times a year averaging $90.00. Four quarts of oil runs about $9.00, which works out to $27.00 a year, savings of $63.00 a year.

Plus the cost of a filter, a container for the old oil and a fee for disposing of it. I get my oil changed at Wal-Mart where it is about $16, and I can do my shopping while I wait. It isn't worth doing it yourself with all supplies, parts and time factored in.
