I remember as a kid hanging from the towel racks in our bathroom. We would eventually pull them out of the walls.
In my kids bathroom, I just use simple hooks bought at the buck store. They can't hang from them, and it is a lot easier for my kids to actually hang their towels up too.
It doesn't look half bad either!!
