Scanning Your Children's Pictures
My 2 year old Ellie goes to a parents morning out program two times a week. We call it "school". They do so many cute little art projects or special colorings to go w/ their lessons for the day. Since many of my family is out of state I scan everything that I can and e-mail it to them. So they can be apart of her everyday moments. You could even go so far to do an online "artbook".

What a great idea! Not only does it make far off relatives feel closer, but the child probably won't make such a fuss when old artwork is tossed when storage becomes an issue. My children seemed to think I should keep every piece of paper they made a mark on.
