Removing Sour Milk Smell From Baby Bottles

New Mommies, this is for you!

Sometimes baby bottles get a stale milky odor in them that just doesn't go away. Put a couple drops of mustard in them, swish them with water, then wash them out. You might think they will retain a mustard scent, but they won't, and the stale milky smell will go away!

It's the vinegar in the mustard that does it...smart mom! Thanks for the idea!

You can also use vinegar, it is also antiseptic and antibiotic, 1/4 cup vinegar; fill remainder w/water, cap-off bottle; let stand over night and rinse. There will be zero vinegar smell after about 2 minutes and the bottle[s] will be as fresh as glass.
