Removing Stains from Laminate Floors

Confused about how to clean a stain on laminate wood floors without damaging the floor? Acetone Nail Polish remover removes dark ring-like stains. You may need to work it in a few times. DO NOT use on Wood floors!

Do you think this would work on a rust stain? I had a stool brush that tipped over from it's holder and it had a wire handle where the bristles were on it. I didn't notice it had tipped and now I have this big orange stain on my laminate. I have tried straight bleach and it did not work.
