How can I remove black rubber marks from a laminate floor?
Mairead from Belfast Northern, Ireland
Just had laminate installed and boot scuff marks were left by the installer. I went with Samantha's recommendation of using tooth paste and it worked great. Thanks!
Magic Eraser!
Use lighter fuel on a piece of kitchen towel. The marks come of immediately. No elbow grease required!

How can I remove black scuff marks from laminate kitchen flooring?

When I was going thru the airport the other day, I noticed a cleaning person with a tennis ball. She had put a stick thru the ball 1/2 way so she didn't have to bend down. She just rubbed the heel marks with a fur on the ball and the heel marks just came right off, with ease. Hope this helps (06/26/2005)

I rub them off with my tennis shoes, just like I have seen a mall janitor do! (06/26/2005)

Gently scuff the scuff marks with rubber soled tennis shoes, it's easy just stand over the scuff mark and take your foot and with short, chopping, rubbing motions rub your foot over the scuff marks, they will magically rub right off! (06/27/2005)
