I had several old socks with holes in them. Darning was not an option. One day I was needing to dust around the TV, stereo, etc., so I grabbed one of them, sprayed on dusting aerosol and put it on like a glove. Works great. When the one side gets dirty, turn it inside out and start over. No need to wash, throw away. If you have kids, you probably have plenty of old socks.
