Callie is 3 months old. She is a feral kitten hand raised since she was 1.5 weeks old. She was orphaned. Her mom was feral but I fed her mom and became friends with her.
Chase her special needs kitten (blind in one eye) brother around the house and terrorize the other pets! She and her brother sleep in the bed with me, snuggled up at my side every night.
Your Callie reminded me of my Allie! I had Allie for 11 years and she was a tortie and very long hair so Vet thought her to be part Main Coon also. Anyway Allie was feisty and I used to warn her for years..."Allie one day a kitten will come by and she will look like you BUT have short hair and be a sweetie." One day I looked at Allie who was howling at the window to porch and thought she was howling at her reflection and it was a cat that looked just like her but with short hair and sweetest nature . We named her Babie (baby) and they became inseperable and I could not believe how my saying came true. Your Callie is ADORABLE and so sweet looking she has such gorgeous coloring. I wish you many years of happiness. It is great she has a buddy to hang out with.
Years ago, I took in a small kitten that was blind in one eye and we never were sure how much sight she had in the other. She ended up being one of the best pets we ever had. Her lack of sight was absolutely no hindrence to her. If yours gets along half as well, she'll have a good life. By the way--she's adorable.
