Removing Hardware and Notions |

Before throwing anything out make sure you've removed everything that could be saved for something else. Examples: buttons, zippers etc. from clothes also hinges off of picture frames, batteries out of things, you get the idea. It's amazing what I almost throw away sometimes. I keep different peanut butter jars full of like items.

MY hubby thinks I am crazy but he has benefited from these jars. I have an alteration business so I also make use of these items

This is a wonderful idea. I volunteer at a thrift store, and we always remove reuseable things, such as buttons, hardware, and we are able to resell them to people who need them...Thanks for mentioning this...
