With 3 kids, we go through bread quickly. It can get expensive buying at the convenience store or the grocery store. I have started to buy bread in bulk at the discount bakery and freeze it at half or a third of the cost. Plus, the bakery I buy at has incentives and a discount program and I get several products for free.

At my local discount bakery you can also buy animal bags of bread type products. This is outdated bread that should not be used for human consumption but works great for feeding chickens and other animals.
