Removing Pet Urine from Area Rug

What do I need to use to remove pet urine from a area rug? It is a bright colored area rug with reds and blacks.

If it is small enough hang it on the line and spray with the hose. You can use baking soda and vinegar made into a paste and scrub spot. Febreze works well on pet odours. Main thing is to catch the urine wet and blot the spot dry as you can, then use the top solutions. Good luck.
