If you have multiple cloves of garlic to peel, zap them in the microwave for 5-10 seconds. Let them cool for a minute or two, since they get pretty hot. The skins will easily slip off.

I personally wouldn't do this - microwaves are not healthy, and this would destroy the health benefits you get from eating garlic! Depending on how you're going to use the garlic, you can just put a big knife with the flat side on the garlic and give it a good push - this will break the garlic clove and will also make it easier to peel.
