I still hang laundry on an outdoor clothes line. I cannot locate line separators anymore. If you need a description, best I can give is they look like large paper clips and are used after hanging several items to keep the lines together (I use a pulley line, not a single one). Can someone out there identify with this this problem and tell me where I can buy these things--I will do mail order if necessary. Thanks for your help.
If you ever get to Canada, they are sold at Canadian Tire Stores. I bought two metal ones there. I found plastic ones in a dollar store. If you have a locally owned hardware store, they may have them. Also, I googled "clothesline separators" and found some online which you could purchase. You could check to see if these are what you are looking for.

I have the same problem... AND I also live in NEPA! I got some separators at Agway years ago. Haven't looked there in a long time. I would try any Farm and Home -type store...do you have a Tractor Supply nearby. Hope this was a help.

If not Walmart, sometimes your local hardware store may carry them. I do see them in Walmart at times and even in Kmart.

I had luck finding the seperator at Walmart. Had the pulley too. Has been a few years, but think I saw them recently. Good luck
