This year's potential Black Swallowtail Butterfly, he is gnawing on some dill that came up in my garlic patch. I hope there will be more but so far I've only seen the one.
Congratulations on finding this little guy! This is the 2nd year I have intentionally planted for butterflies and am so hoping to find some caterpillars of my own. I also set out food and drinks for the birds however, so I am not sure who will win out-it will be interesting if both settle into my backyard for the long haul. Good luck with yours.
