Using A Wooden Gun Cabinet
My husband has a beautiful cedar gun cabinet with a glass door and double door storage space on the bottom. However, for safety reasons, we just bought a large gun safe and now we would like to use this wooden gun cabinet in another way. Other than a curio cabinet, any suggestions?

I bought an old gun cabinet at a thrift store and made a great kitchen pantry out of it. I replaced the glass with beadboard and painted the whole thing to match my kitchen.

Put in shelves and turn into a stereo cabinet.

Use it for storage.
If it has glass on the door, cover it with a inexpensive piece of mactac to hide the contents.

You could install shelves and use it as a bookcase.

Could you install shelves, and use it for storage of out of season clothing? A cedar closet?
