Fills your home with the aroma of cinnamon and cloves and your tummy with the warmth of an easy to prepare hot fruity drink with the pizazz of cloves and cinnamon.

Ingredients

  • 1 64 oz. bottle of cranberry juice
  • 1 64 oz. bottle of apple juice
  • 1 cup of light brown sugar (cut back a little on the sugar if the juice is really sweet)
  • 4 cinnamon sticks
  • 2 Tbsp whole cloves.

Directions

Pour the juices into a 32 cup percolator. Put all the remaining ingredients in the basket of the percolator. Put on the lid and plug the percolator in. That's it!

It's ready when the perking stops. By that time your home will be filled the welcoming fragrance of the spices. It's good to keep the ingredients on hand so that you can warm up unexpected guests with little effort at all.

To be more frugal, I buy the Cranberry Apple juice at Dollar General for $2 a bottle.)

What a clever idea! Since I don't have a perculator I don't see why this wouldn't work with a drip coffee maker...I'm going to try it! The cinnamin sticks and cloves would work fine in the basket liner where you usually put coffee so why not. I think the aroma would be just as wonderful too...thanks for the tip!
