My class is in the process of renovating our senior lounge but part of the part is taken over by mini lockers. There is no hope of taking them out and it's an eye sore. I was wondering if there was any way of either using them in a creative way or covering them.

My class is not too handy with wood so covering them with a wood box would not work. Also we are trying to stay in the rang of light colors, such as pale green, yellow, and blue. There will be about 90 people in there and we need all the space we can get. Thank you!

Paint the lockers then take the doors off and use them as shelves. Put books in them..et. Also each person could "adopt" one and decorate the inside like a shadow box or something artsy that reflexs their personality, event or person they love.

how about painting the lockers, each in a different color, using the pastels you have chosen. kind of a checkerboard effect.

walls and furniture can be painted in same colors. tablecloths and curtains to match- if needed

Do the lockers have to be used, or can they be covered up?

The lockers could be covered by flat sheets in the color(s) you have chosen. The sheets could be hung from curtain rods mounted on the wall above the lockersIf you can drill holes in the locker top, they could be fastened to the tops. You could also use shower curtains and rods. These could be taken down for washing and would be easy and cheap to replace.

Depending on the size of the lockers, could you use folding privacy screens?

If allowed, could you treat the lockers as a wall and paint a mural on them?

Could you cover them with brown or white rolls of paper, and use them to draw/write on, changing the paper when it gets filled? Tape the paper to the lockers with packing/duct tape.

If they can be painted, paint them with blackboard paint, and use chalk to draw/write on them. You can get this paint at Home Depot,
