Pizza Hot Dish

Ingredients:
  • 2 lbs. hamburger
  • 1 chopped onion
  • 1 tsp. garlic salt
  • 1 tsp. salt
  • 1 tsp. pepper
  • 15 oz. jar spaghetti sauce
  • 8 oz. can tomato sauce
  • 1/4 tsp. oregano
  • 8 oz. noodles
  • 1 can cheddar cheese soup

Directions:

Brown the hamburger, onion, garlic salt, salt, and pepper. Drain well and add the spaghetti sauce, tomato sauce, and oregano. Cook the noodles according to package directions and drain. Add the soup to the noodles. You can be real creative. Add 1 lb. browned sausage instead of all hamburger if you like. Add pepperoni, olives, or other pizza toppings. Layer in a casserole dish, alternating with the noodle-cheese soup mixture and the hamburger mixture. Cover and bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes. Remove and cover with mozzarella cheese. Bake uncovered until cheese melts.

This sounds good; however you do not say what kind of noodles to use. Does it matter? What do you use?
