Texas Pecan Pie
- 5 eggs
- 3 tsp. butter (soft or melted)
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1 1/4 cup white corn syrup
- 1 tsp. vanilla
- 1/4 tsp. salt
- 3 Tbsp. flour
- 2 cup pecan halves
- 1 unbaked 9 or 10 inch pie shell
Beat eggs slightly. Add butter, sugar, syrup, vanilla, salt, flour and pecans. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees F for about 40 minutes or until center is soft but not quite set.
