Recipe: Apricot Chicken (11/13/2009)
Easy to make and very nutritious. Wash chicken breasts to make sure their clean. Take chicken breasts and smoosh into the soup mix.

Easy to make and very nutritious.
Ingredients:
4 chicken breasts, with or without skin
1 package of Lipton onion soup mix
1 jar of Polandars All Fruit Apricot Preserves
Directions:
Wash chicken breasts to make sure their clean. Take chicken breasts and smoosh into the soup mix. Place apricot preserves on top of chicken to taste. Preheat oven to bake 350 degrees F. and cook for one half an hour.

I saw this same recipe on a supposed health nutrition website a few days ago. I would not make it, sorry, because of the MSG, high sodium, chemicals and preservatives in soup mix. If I made it, I would use real sliced onions instead, plus thyme and other natural spices, no salt, on skinless chicken. (09/17/2009)
I tried this last night for a quick dinner. I did not have apricot preserves so I substituted peach (sugar free). It smelled enticing while in the oven, and was absolutely wonderful! This recipe is a keeper for me! (09/18/2009)
