Use A Sponge For Applying Liquid Make Up

When putting on liquid make up, use a make up sponge because of several reasons:

  • Keep dirt and germs our of the bottle.

  • The "life" of the make up will last longer!

  • The sponge can be washed.

  • The sponge will apply the make up even and smooth, where your fingers cannot.

  • The make up on your face will be consistent each and every time.

And if you wet it and ring it out your foundation will go on even more smoothly and natural looking :-) I love the little sea type sponges :-)

The lady at the makeup counter in Dillards told me when I bought my liquid foundation NOT to use a sponge. She said to use a brush instead because the sponge soaks up too much of the makeup that doesn't go on your face.

I use a brush most of the time but on occasion I do use a sponge but I wet it first. That seems to make the makeup go further.
