Scenery: Summer Remnants

I love to photograph and draw botanicals. Now when we are snowed in, I did not expect to find much on my crunchy/squeaky walk to the spring. Wrong! There was a summer once and she left forms against the snow in the exquisite remnants of wildflower bracts and seed pods. Here's one of them.

Love the pics, there is beauty in every season, but it only those brave enough to face the cold and look for the beauty that find it in winter.
