I recently bought a beautiful all glass display cabinet unseen it was all crated up. I was told it had wood on the top and bottom. However, the top and the bottom are WHITE kinda like a heavy white acrylic high gloss finish. Does anyone have any ideas how I could re-do the top and bottom to a color where it would go with my Oak pieces of furniture. I really need help. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks to all in advance,

LilHoneyBrat

Antique it. Ruff it up a little with sand paper. Using oak stain,,,buff it on in places, then rubb off.

If the white piece of furniture looks nice; don`t do anything at all. Every piece of furniture doesn`t have to match. Sometimes one "different" piece will really stand out and look great. Try it for awhile before you decide to strip, sand, re-varnish etc. etc.
