Caramel Rolls I

Ingredients

  • Cinnamon and sugar as desired
  • 1/2 cup white corn syrup
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • pecans to taste
  • Dough as for cinnamon rolls

Directions

Bring corn syrup, butter and brown sugar to a boil. Pour into greased baking dish and sprinkle with pecans. Roll dough as for cinnamon roll (sprinkle with sugar and cinnamon.) Cut and place over caramel. Let rise until double. Bake 350 degrees F for 25 minutes. Invert to cool.

Caramel Rolls II

Ingredients

  • 2 loaves frozen bread dough
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup margarine
  • 1 large pkg. regular vanilla pudding
  • 2 Tbsp. milk

Directions

Cut 1 loaf bread dough into 1 inch pieces. Put in greased 9x13 inch pan. Melt margarine and mix with rest of the ingredients. Pour over first loaf. Cut second loaf into pieces and put on top. Let raise in warm area until it reaches the top of the pan. Bake at 350 degrees F for 25-30 minutes until golden brown.
