Bake your own dinner rolls! No matter how cheaply they can be purchased it will still be many, many times the cost of baking your own. This is true not just for dinner rolls but almost any food item. Many things also freeze well so make a big batch and only keep enough out to use within a few days. I grew up in a poor family, so we rarely ate convenience foods, my mom made most things from scratch.

I can not find the King's Hawaiian rolls made with condensed milk, pecans, nutmeg, etc. Any suggestions where I can look?

I would go to my local grocery store and request them to be placed on their store shelves... I did that very thing at our local Food Lion store and what I requested is on their shelves even today - I am supposing that other customer's purchased 'it' too.

Good Luck!
