Green Tea Squares
I am currently on a diet and I was experimenting with ways to add green tea to different foods.
Ingredients:
1 Tbsp. green tea powder
6 Tbsp. (80 mls) butter
3/4 cup (180 mls) brown sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp. (2 ml) vanilla
1 1/3 cup (310 ml) white flour
1 tsp. (5ml) baking soda
1/2 tsp. (2ml) salt
Optional: replace 1/2 flour with oats + ground flax
Directions:
Add all ingredients in a bowl. Mix and, using a heaping Tbsp, put on a cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees F for 20 minutes until golden brown.
Makes 20 cookies
Servings: 20

Can you tell me if I have converted this correctly. To the best of my knowledge I think it should be: 1/3 cup butter 3/4 cup brown sugar 1/2 tsp vanilla 1-1/2 cup flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp salt Thanks ever so much. I'd really like to try this but didn't want to mess it up :) Gigi

I would love to try this recipe, but unfortunately it's in metric measurements and trying to trying to translate it into ounces and cups results in decimal points and not whole numbers! The recipe sounds great though!
