Does anyone have any tips on cleaning a set diet Coke stain on a one year old nylon carpet? Any help will be appreciated.

Try water and 7-up. Pour it all over the stain then scrub it out with a paper towel it works very well. Can't see anything.
I tried this on a pool table.

I poured bleach over the carpet and then to remove any bleach marks left over I used white vinegar. I thought the bleach would have stained, but thankfully it did not.

I also have a coke stain on my nylon carpet. I have tried everything and YES coke does stain - i was suprised too. Any advice would be great!

Is it safe to use peroxide on colored carpet when you have stains? I've only used it on white.

How do I remove a Coca Cola stain from carpet?

Try ocyclean with warm water on the stain. If you don't have that, try white vinager with warm water on the stain- this may take longer to remove. (09/04/2006)

I use peroxide first on any stain. If that doesn't get it I'd try baking soda and peroxide. Are you sure its coke? I've never seen coke stain anything. Any oil or grease based stain would need borax (borateem here in usa) or salt and vinegar. (09/06/2006)
