Garden: Boot Planter

I painted the boot with PVA glue to waterproof it then painted the surface with acrylic paint and added a potted plant

I absolutely love how you waterproofed the boot and that you decorated it too! If you lived closer I would ask you to make one for me in deep sage ;-)

That boot is really a cute idea. When we were in Ireland visiting a sheep farm, the barnyard had a lot of planters made from worn out boots sitting about and it made a drab area colorful with different plants all blooming.

Very cute idea because you "took it up a notch", and did not throw a plant into an as is old shoe or boot.
