Overnight Snowball Cookies

Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Beat 2 egg whites till foamy. Gradually add 2/3 cup sugar and continue beating till peaks form. Fold in pinch of salt, 1 1/4 tsp. vanilla extract, 1 cup finely chopped pecans, and 1 cup semi sweet chocolate bits (small or regular). Drop cookies by teaspoonful onto ungreased, foil lined baking sheet. Place cookies in preheated oven and turn off the heat immediately. Leave in overnight. Makes two dozen.
