Ephesus is absolutely amazing. It's incredible that the city was created hundreds of years ago. If you are going to Mykonos, check out: http://www.mykonostravel.org/ . There are plenty of tips on eating, drinking, the beaches, hotels, etc.

I loved going on a 7-day cruise of the Greek islands with a stop in Istanbul and Ephesus.

Pack a small foldable fan. It can get quite hot there. It was a lifesaver.
