I am looking for bulk marigolds to string together for the garlands in an Indian wedding, anyone know where I can get them? So far I can only find seeds.

Thanks in advance!

Dear Jenny from Monterey,

Looking for marigolds to string together for that Indian wedding? A short trip to Salinas or even the Central Valley (such as Lodi) to visit the many nurseries like Phillips Farm or Holland Dutch Nursery should get you what you need. It will be lovely, I'm sure.

FUNNY that not a SINGLE marigold was to be found at our local shops this year. I only wanted ONE to attract any spider mites, but it was not available!
This puzzles me, too. God bless you. : )

Thanks for the thought!! I did actually want to use them because they are traditional, though probably in a smaller quantity

OH, HONEY..these flowers, while pretty, do not have the greatest "smell"...are you sure you want to use these?

isn't there a flower market in the city (SF)? ask local floristswhere they get their bulk items, but remember marigolds aren't the first item that people think of in floral arrangements, so they might be hard to find.
