I use alcohol on my phone, lightswitches and doorknobs once a week to get rid of bacteria and oil. This works really well-try this instead of spending money on high priced disenfectors.

I work in customer service. I use individual alcohol wipes on my phone and computer keyboard weekly. If I have a cold, I use one daily at the end of the day. These are very inexpensive, I bought 100 of them for about $1 at Wal Mart. They are perfect for this and alcohol is great because it evaporates therefore it does not pool in your keyboard or phone.

Yes, alcohol is a real good cleaner. I believe they use it in hospitals. My brother has always used it when he cleans up old radios and other electronics that he gets at garage sales and thrift shops. I used it one day on my stainless stove and it cleaned everything well 'cept for the area where the knobs are, it discolored a black area or more to the point, it took the finish off and left a cloudy area. So I guess you want to be a little careful and perhaps try on a spot before doing a whole area. My stove is old and I plan to replace it but not anytime in the immediate future.

OH YES....I CLEAN MY STAINLESS STEEL SINK WITH BAKING SODA AND DAWN. FRESH CLEAN SMELLS GOOD TOO. THEN POUR SOME ALCOHOL ON A CLOTH WIPE DOWN THE SINK AND THE FAUCETS..YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN A CLEAN SHINE UNTIL YOU TRY THIS...NO GREASE LOOK LIKE STAINLESS STEEL POLISH.

I have a very old concave screen computer monitor, I have only ever used alcohol (dollar store) with a cotton make-up removing pad (dollar store) to clean toddler fingerprints off of it. I also use a cotton swab that is only slightly damp with alcohol to clean the keyboard keys and mouse.
