1968 Briggs Hard to Start When Engine Cold

1968 Briggs and Stratton 80202 0351-01 6807291

It is very hard to start but once started and warm, it restarts easily and runs fine. What is the problem? Help.

There's a reason why we used to call them "Briggs and Scrapiron..." Sorry, no help, but I couldn't resist...lol.
