Look For Stationery At Thrift Stores

Did you know that, among other things, that you can find elegant stationery and greeting cards at thrift shops? Now that cards have gotten so expensive, I stock up whenever I see them, so that I have some on hand for every occasion!

Our local thrift stores have cards for 35-40 cents. In one store-they stock them on Wednesdays. The selection is the best-so try to chat up the lady doing the stocking. She might let you into the newest arrivals. Also good are "homemade" by local artists. One of a kind.

Yes, I've found things such as that at thrift stores....garage sales too! I've even found real nice unused older greeting cards which can be somewhat valuable and you can sell on ebay to those who collect that sort of thing.

I've also found wrapping paper, bows, gift bags, etc. All at very reasonable prices.
