4-6 slices hot pepper cheese (any cheese will work)
3 Tbsp. ketchup
salt and pepper, to taste
Directions
Mix the ground chuck, onion, green pepper, egg and crackers together. Put 1/2 of the mixture into a bread pan. Layer the hot cheese over the meat mixture and add the rest of the mixture on top of the cheese. Drizzle ketchup over the top and salt and pepper to taste. Bake at 350 degrees F for 1 hour.
Any surprise will work, even boiled eggs, pickles, carrots, a strip of bacon, olives, cherry tomatoes. A different surprise each time. Olives change the flavor the most. Have FUN! DearWebby
